About the NEL VCFSE Collaborative
The NEL VCFSE Collaborative works closely with NHS North East London to provide strategic input and ensure a two-way flow of communication between the VCFSE sector and the Integrated Care Board (ICB). The Collaborative meets monthly and represents groups across seven boroughs:
📍 City & Hackney
📍 Barking & Dagenham
📍 Havering
📍 Redbridge
📍 Newham
📍 Tower Hamlets
📍 Waltham Forest
At its core, the Collaborative is committed to equity, transparency, collaboration, and community-driven leadership, ensuring the sector plays a key role in shaping policy, commissioning, and service improvement.
Paid Representative Roles Available
The Collaborative is recruiting 12 representatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive leadership group:
✅ 7 Place-based representatives (one per borough)
✅ 1 Faith sector representative
✅ 1 Long Term Conditions representative
✅ 1 Babies, Children & Young People representative
✅ 1 Mental Health representative
✅ 1 Workforce & Volunteers representative
Time Commitment & Remuneration
📅 Time commitment: 10 hours per month
💰 Remuneration: £5,000 per annum
📆 Term: Until March 31, 2026

✔ Have leadership experience within VCFSE organisations.
✔ Are committed to ensuring VCFSE voices shape health & care decisions.

Selection Process
✔ Applications will be reviewed by a selection panel.
